Greetings all!!
This is a play that has been YEARS in the making (I wrote it rather quickly, but did spend YEARS on the research!)
How many of you have been to a Comic Convention?? Show of hands, come on, you can admit it HERE!!
Okay, they are never quite what you expect.
You stand in line for hours to meet your favorite star, sift through some comic book bins, ogle some of the high end collectibles, sift through some more bins (hoping to find a treasure), get an autograph from someone who isn't that big of a star-just because there is no line. Spend way more than you planned.
And then you go home, trying to figure out which moments of the day were genuinely awesome and which disillusioned you..
It's a surreal time and space. Your favorite movie/tv/music stars have suddenly aged. Which, sadly, makes you realize you are not the little kid you once were.
This Comic Con takes you into the surreal space. And even further.
